01. What photography services do you provide?
My focus is on intimate weddings, elopements, and portraits. Because I believe in being there for your whole life's journey, I capture celebrations of all sizes. In addition to weddings, if any of my clients want to celebrate their engagements, anniversaries, personal brand, birthdays, or growing families through a portrait session, I am happy to help.
02. What is a fun fact about you?
I genuinely adore children and especially love babies and toddlers. Since I have experience teaching 1st - 12 graders in the classroom, I also feel very comfortable giving directions or prompts to children of all ages for photos.
04. Do you have photography packages you can send me?
Wherever you are on your one of a kind journey - celebrating your self love, true love, or family love - I design custom collections to honor your heart's desires. All of the collections offered include a consultation to learn your vision, me as the lead photographer, a photography timeline uniquely inspired by you, location scouting, beautiful high resolution edited photos, an online highlight gallery, and printing rights. Our À La Carte Menu will also be included. It has a range of options you are more than welcome to add to your custom collection at any time. 05. How many hours of photography do you recommend?
Everybody is different. It is best to hop on the phone and discuss your vision, so that I can recommend an accurate amount of coverage. For photography sessions, I recommend 30 minutes - 1.5 hours depending on how many people, outfits, and locations you want included. For larger events like weddings, I offer between 7-11 hours of coverage. For more intimate elopements, I recommend at least 4 hours coverage.
06. How far in advance do I need to book?
For weddings, please book 4 months - 1 year in advance. For photography sessions, book 3-4 weeks in advance. It is never too soon to reach out and see if we have your date available.
07. How many photos will we receive?
For every hour of shooting, I deliver approximately 50 - 100 photos. Each experience is one of a kind, and putting a minimum or maximum on creative expression is limiting. I understand you may love photos completely different from me, so I give all the best for you to decide which ones are your favorite to share.
08. What is your turn around time?
You will receive a beautiful online gallery of 5-10 highlight photos 7 days after our time together. This way you can quickly and easily share them with your friends and family. The best high resolution, edited photos will be delivered within 2 weeks for 30 minute sessions, within 3 weeks for 1 hour sessions, and within 8 weeks for elopements and wedding day coverage. Any additional photo products purchased, such as prints and albums will be delivered 4 weeks after you receive your digital photos. We will stay in contact about your photo delivery dates, and it is my highest priority to meet the deadlines I set.
09. Do you offer prints and albums?
Yes. When I deliver your online gallery for instant download, I offer an option to purchase high quality prints. This way you will have a heirloom you can easily share with family and friends for years to come. Even though printing rights are included with my services, I highly recommend the option to purchase prints of your favorites from my preferred printer. In the past, I've noticed a major difference in the quality from printing at a place like Walgreens compared to printing at the place I now trust. Prints and albums are offered because it brings me so much joy when I walk into a returning client's home and the photos we took together are hanging on their walls or sitting on their coffee table.
10. Are you open to travel for your clients?
Of course. I'm based by the beach in California, and traveling is my favorite thing! I got my start with travel photography, and I am available for travel worldwide. I'm addicted to exploring the world, and I feel most alive when I'm experiencing new cultures. My camera has taken me all across the globe, landing in places such as New York, Costa Rica, Guatemala, France, and Spain. 11. When and where do photography sessions take place?
Our photography sessions (branding, families, or couples) typically take place 2 hours before sunset. When thinking about where to do your 30 minute - 1.5 hours photography session, I encourage you to include one of your favorite places and turn your photo shoot into a destination getaway. Some of my fave sessions are when I meet couples somewhere they love, or somewhere they want to explore, and we make an adventure out of it. If you do not already have a desired location in mind, I have many beautiful locations in my back pocket that I can recommend.
12. What do we wear for our photos?
I will provide you with a guide on how to prepare before we shoot together, which includes advice on wardrobe. The short answer is wear what you would on a first date to make a good first impression. I want you to be comfortable while feeling like their best selves. Flowy dresses, button up collared shirts, and all kinds of accessories are welcome.
13. Do you offer RAW unedited images?
Color correcting and lightly retouching the best photos is an important part of my creative process because I want to present the highest quality work connected to my name. After I upload the RAW images to my hard drive and import them into Lightroom, I select the best ones to edit. When I'm happy with the edit result and I believe you will too, I export high resolution photos as JPEGs at 300 ppi. I deliver the best to my clients.
14. Do you have health and safety procedures in place?
Our health and safety is very important to me. This is why I wash my hands frequently, wear a mask, use the right lenses to stay 6ft a part, and clean my equipment before and after shoots.
